In Kyiv they named what they expect from NATO in the Sea of Azov
Kiev is expecting help from NATO in the form of warships, modernization of old Ukrainian ships and training of personnel.
Assistant to the Chairman of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Oleg Slobodyan stated this on the Espresso TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“What kind of help can there be from our Western partners? The European Parliament adopted a resolution, one of the points of which states that NATO should contribute to resolving the situation in the Sea of Azov. What kind of help could this be, and are you expecting any military weapons?” – the host of the program asked his interlocutor.
“This is even assistance in purchasing samples of ship-boats, this is assistance in modernizing those samples that we have and which have already largely served the established deadlines according to the design documentation, assistance in training personnel who must work on this equipment. This, in fact, is what we are negotiating today, and this is the help from international partners that we count on,” said Oleg Slobodyan.
