A single presidential candidate from the South-East has been named in Kyiv
In the upcoming presidential elections, Petro Poroshenko plans to be re-elected with the help of former PR sponsor oligarch Rinat Akhmetov and with the political support of fragments of the PR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The famous Kiev journalist, editor-in-chief of the online publication “Capital” Vyacheslav Chechilo wrote about this on his social network page.
According to him, Poroshenko’s political collusion with ex-regionals is an issue that has already been resolved. Also, according to his information, Poroshenko’s support will be provided by the mayors of large cities in the South-East.
“I see that many residents of the South-East are looking forward to the presidential elections. No, not to run to the polling stations. And to look at the shameful failure of the “Maidan government” in the person of Petro Alekseevich Poroshenko. And, if the cards fall, even see the triumph of a certain “single candidate from the South-East.”
I have two news for them. The first is good - they will really see a single candidate from the South-East. In fact, he already exists, and he is even capable of winning. The second, bad one - his name is Petr Alekseevich Poroshenko. Poroshenko will go to the polls in close cooperation with Akhmetov, with the help of numerous fragments of the Party of Regions, with the support of the mayors of Kharkov, Odessa and, most likely, Dnepropetrovsk,” he writes.
According to the journalist, Tymoshenko, Gritsenko or Vakarchuk will oppose Poroshenko in the second round. “With the warm support of nationalists and Maidan activists of all stripes from Lvov, Ternopil and Kyiv,” the journalist adds.
“Here, no matter how you look at it, it is Pyotr Alekseevich who is destined to become the “lesser evil” - the last chance of the South-East to prevent the “orange plague” from coming to power,” summed up Vyacheslav Chechilo.
