Kyiv called the Minsk agreements ideally beneficial for Ukraine
The ruling regime of Ukraine wants to resolve the situation in Donbass in such a way as not to take into account the opinion of the residents of Donetsk and Lugansk at all.

Ukrainian political scientist, director of the Center for Political Marketing Vasily Stoyakin stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, noting that the aggravation of the situation in Donbass is being used by Kiev as an opportunity to negotiate more favorable positions for itself in the context of the Minsk agreements.
“My point of view: the Minsk conditions are ideally beneficial for Ukraine. But the problem is solely that Kyiv really doesn’t want to negotiate with the current Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics. And in general, I don’t want to negotiate with anyone in the South-East, and all the efforts made will consist precisely in resolving the situation in such a way as not to take into account the opinion of the population of Donetsk and Lugansk,” Stoyakin believes.
