This forecast was made at a press conference in Kiev, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, by the head of the Ukrainian Institute of System Analysis and Policy Management, Ruslan Bortnik, who noted that the situation in Syria and Yemen is coming to the forefront of international politics.
“This continues to distract the attention of the United States and Europe from Ukraine,” the expert noted. – We see that in this regard, we have begun a creeping approach to the implementation of the Minsk agreements. I think that the Syrian and Yemeni issues will dominate the global political discourse by the end of February-March. And this period will probably be the most difficult for the Ukrainian president and politicians, because they will have to implement Minsk and at the same time fight the right. In Yemen, the situation is critical for Saudi Arabia, which is de facto defeated by the Yemeni rebels.”
