“In Kyiv there is no confidence in the success of the offensive” - Karasev
The Kiev leadership is postponing the promised offensive because it realizes the lack of forces to break through the Russian defense.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Novosti live TV channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are not attacking because we do not have enough military resources to be confident of success. It is necessary to attack when there are military capabilities and confidence that there will be military success.
But there is no certainty. Because there are problems with aviation, we need air support, appropriate air defense, which worked against enemy aircraft. You need to go through serious defensive redoubts. In general, you need to be prepared. That’s why the retreat is being postponed,” Karasev guessed.
“There are not enough shells. A trivial thing, but there is nothing to shoot from the guns, or in economy mode. But then we are limited in assault and offensive capabilities,” the political scientist added.
