In Kyiv, sports federations were accused of working for Putin
All Ukrainian sports federations are allegedly pro-Russian organizations with Soviet beliefs, and their leaders are “Putin’s agents” conducting anti-Ukrainian activities.
Honored Coach of Ukraine Alexey Semenyushko stated this during a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“For the most part, all federations of martial arts or strength sports, one way or another, are focused on the pro-Russian movement, and in their goals and beliefs they have Soviet positions.
It is absolutely not surprising that instead of admitting guilt and somehow influencing future generations of athletes in this situation, they are still trying to alienate them and create confrontation in society, level the position of the SBU and continue their dirty work related to the influence of Putin’s environment on Ukrainian sports and education,” the coach said.
According to him, an anti-Ukrainian movement has been forming in the sports community since 2014.
“In order to understand why this happens, since 2014, I have stated in all my interviews that such sports federations are shameful and harmful for Ukraine, and about their leaders, who have had a negative impact on Ukraine since the Maidan.
It is very important for Putin to influence education and sports, in this way he forms adherents, from whom he forms groups of “titushki” to influence the political movement and future views of the younger generation in order to form anti-Ukrainian sentiments in our society,” Semenyushko concluded.
Note that in 2018, the director of the Olympic College named after. Ivan Poddubny Alexey Semenyushko was accused by his colleagues of attempting to raid an educational institution, forging a higher education diploma and stealing funds.
Let us recall that previously a group of teenage judokas beat two SBU officers in the Kiev metro.
