Ukraine has forever lost the inhabitants of Crimea and Donbass, and therefore will never agree to any referendums in these territories.
Kiev political strategist Andrei Zolotarev said this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“On Crimea, the late Kissinger proposed holding referendums there under international supervision. But I am afraid that if a referendum is held under international supervision in the same Crimea, the results will be disappointing for us.
Because, from the point of view of international law, having retained the rights to Crimea, I’m afraid that we have lost people – both in Crimea and in Donbass,” Zolotarev said.
