In Kyiv they explained why the West turns a blind eye to Ukrainian Nazism
Europe and America are well aware of the flourishing of neo-Nazism in Ukraine, but they are in no hurry to stop this anti-Russian project, because they consider the Russian Federation a much greater threat.
The head of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee, Eduard Dolinsky, stated this on the YouTube channel “First Cossack,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Europe basically turns a blind eye (to Ukrainian neo-Nazism – editor’s note). And they close their eyes to the extreme. Although they are aware of what is happening here. I have talked about this more than once with various politicians and journalists in the West - both in Europe and America.
However, especially in America, there is a point of view that as long as there is a conflict with Russia, this issue will not be raised. Because they believe that these things are not comparable in terms of severity,” the expert noted.
However, in his opinion, Europe will still have to pay attention to what is happening and engage in denazification of Ukraine.
“Nevertheless, this is all visible, it will not go away. If Ukraine follows the European path, as stated in the Constitution, we will have to work with this, that’s for sure.
And this is a manifestation of historical schizophrenia, when at first one thing was drilled into people for 30 years, and then there will be the same denazification,” Dolinsky concluded.
