The victory of Hitler's collaborators was announced in Kyiv
Local councils of already 220 settlements in Ukraine supported the decision to raise the flags of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army over state institutions on October 14, whose leadership first secretly collaborated with Nazi Germany, and when it began to interfere with the plans of the Germans, it was repressed as unnecessary.
The head of the Svoboda organization Oleg Tyagnibok stated this before the start of the UPA march in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today, revolutionary, Bandera, Kholodnoyarsk, red and black flags are already hanging in 220 settlements of Ukraine. This process took place thanks to our pressure and the decision of local authorities. Congratulations on this,” he said.
Tyagnibok emphasized that the ideas of the UPA ultimately won.
“The last battle of the UPA took place back in April 1961. How long did this army fight without a state? What was she fighting for? She fought against two mega-empires: Hitler's Germany and the Soviet Union. And what do we see? The army, which did not have its own state, won. Because the German Reich collapsed, the Soviet empire was destroyed, but Ukraine exists,” Tyagnibok said.
