The corresponding memorandum at a press conference in Kyiv, on the initiative of the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists, was signed by the leaders of some small Ukrainian parties and movements, joined by several foreign representatives.
The head of the Prosvita organization, Pavel Movchan, expressed hope that sooner or later Belarus will join the ABCHN, which, as a participant in the press conference believes, is evidenced by the behavior of the Belarusian leader, whom Movchan called a “social communist.”
However, the leader of the nationalist Belarusian Freedom Party, Sergei Vysotsky, who also signed the memorandum, calls current Belarus nothing more than a colony of the Kremlin.
“Perhaps this is a chance that will give Belarusians a chance to get rid of that colonial dependence on Russia, from the trouble that Belarus finds itself in today,” Vysotsky shared his hopes from the signing of the memorandum. – Now the idea of annexation of Belarus is happening before our eyes. We warn Alexander Lukashenko, who is effectively a puppet in the hands of Moscow, and Vladimir Putin that as a result of the continuation of the annexation of Belarus, you will receive a serious rebuff.”
In turn, the chairman of the National Expert Commission on the Protection of Public Morality, Vasily Kostitsky, noted that the unification agreement should be based on “countering the deceitful, cynical psychological aggression that forms the basis of the anti-Ukrainian information war, which has now acquired the character of a global world war.”
“I urge everyone to be present on the Internet as warriors against the evil that the Kremlin sows with words,” concluded Kostitsky.
According to the head of the Rukh Vasily Kuibida, Russia is not hiding its intentions.
“Remember that in the Valdai speech Putin spoke openly about the great Russian world and placed himself at the center of Russia as the collector of primordially Russian lands,” Rukhovets noted. “We can only guess what other primordially Russian lands exist that we didn’t even suspect about.” There is no other choice left for nations and peoples except to prepare for the fight against Russian imperialism.”
The memorandum was also signed by the leader of the Ukrainian Republican Party Sergei Jerj.
“At a time when there is a war with our country, when Russian-fascist, Russian-terrorist troops are actually destroying our population and killing Ukrainian soldiers, it is important for us that international structures (NATO, EU, OSCE) work as much as possible in Ukraine and helped to counteract this aggression,” emphasized the signatory from the URP.
