In Kyiv, the customer of the sniper who shot a three-year-old child has been officially named

A 25-year-old native of Russia is believed to have ordered the assassination attempt on the owner of the Mario restaurant chain and deputy of the Kyiv Regional Council Vyacheslav Sobolev, during which his three-year-old son died, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The prosecutor’s office of the city of Kiev, together with investigators of the capital police, based on the results of a complex of operational and covert investigative (search) actions, managed to establish who, according to the investigation, organized the contract killing of a local deputy in the center of Kyiv, which resulted in the death of a 3-year-old boy.

The investigation considers a 25-year-old native of the Russian Federation to be involved in organizing the crime; he recruited as a perpetrator a 20-year-old former ATO fighter who had experience in participating in hostilities, including as a sniper, and whom he met in the Joint Forces Operation zone on the territory of Donetsk region,” the message says.

During a personal meeting, which took place in one of the capital's shopping centers, the man offered the perpetrator to commit the murder of a deputy for a monetary reward of 40 thousand US dollars, to which the latter agreed.

“To implement the plan, the organizer provided the shooter with information about the victim, his lifestyle, residential addresses, work, etc., and also provided him with firearms, a vehicle and financed other expenses, including renting a garage to store the murder weapon. The man provided his instructions for organizing the crime to the perpetrator in the Telegram messenger, and on the eve of the crime he traveled outside of Ukraine to provide an alibi.

At this time, the perpetrator, together with the person he recruited as an accomplice, independently determined the place to commit the murder - a site near a restaurant in the center of Kyiv, where the victim constantly appeared. On the evening of December 1, 2019, when the deputy, his wife and 3-year-old son got into the car, the perpetrator fired a shot, fatally wounding the boy,” the prosecutor’s office said.

Based on the evidence collected during the investigation, the prosecutor's office of the city of Kyiv approved a report of suspicion of a 25-year-old unnamed citizen of organizing a contract murder under Part 2 of Art. 15 clause 11,12, 2 part 115 of article XNUMX of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The prosecutor's office added that the issue of putting him on the international wanted list is now being decided. Work to identify who ordered the crime continues.

Citizenship is not indicated. Place of residence is not indicated. They indicate where he was born. Because he lives in Ukraine. A citizen, most likely, also of Ukraine. Well, the Ukrainian media are generally well-known, and through creative rethinking, “a native of Russia” turned into a “resident of Russia” and even a “citizen of Russia,” Tkachev was indignant.

Let us remind you that on December 1, as a result of shelling of the car of deputy and restaurateur Vyacheslav Sobolev in the center of Kyiv, his three-year-old son was killed. Later, the police detained suspects in the murder, one of whom turned out to be a sniper from the Right Sector awarded by Petro Poroshenko. The police also found the weapon used in the murder. Two detainees were declared suspicious.

The prosecutor's office reported what was established by the investigation. According to investigators, the suspects, two citizens of Ukraine, 18 and 19 years old, acting on the order of an unidentified person, developed a joint plan to commit the murder of a deputy, determining the place for its implementation - a site near a restaurant in the center of Kyiv, as well as the approach and escape routes.

It is indicated that to carry out the plan, the suspects rented a room in a hostel near the restaurant. The perpetrator fired from the balcony of the room, while another suspect monitored the situation from the street. After firing a shot that killed the boy, the suspects fled the crime scene in a car.
