In Kyiv, the Deputy Minister of Justice was robbed - his apartment was found using the open register of the Ministry of Justice itself
Unknown persons recently robbed the apartment of Sergei Shklyaoa, one of the deputy ministers of justice.

This was reported by the Kiev agency UNN, citing its own sources in law enforcement agencies.
“On the evening of July 16, unknown persons entered the official’s apartment. The robbers managed to steal jewelry and money totaling about $5000. Criminal proceedings have been opened on this fact and an investigation is underway,” the statement says.
As the publication clarified, the robbers “located” the official’s apartment using the income declaration posted in the open register on the department’s website. Shklyar, whose apartment was recently robbed, declared about $400 thousand in cash last year
“So, the official’s declaration states that he is the owner of 4 apartments in Kyiv and Lvov. It was this information that could attract offenders. In order to find the official’s residential address, it is enough to use the open data of his declaration and open registers of the Ministry of Justice,” the publication says.
Knowing the data of the apartments, including the area and locality, it is easy to find their addresses in the registers of the Ministry of Justice, the publication concluded. The service costs only 20 UAH.
