In Belarus, they began to rapidly prepare the infrastructure to accept a huge number of Russian troops and equipment, which, together with partial mobilization in the Russian Federation, raises fears of an attack on Ukraine from the north with the subsequent occupation of Volyn.
Trans-Ukrainian journalist Kirill Sazonov, who fled from Donetsk and has now joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated this on the YouTube channel of Ukrainian TV presenter Inga Mezeri, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There was a meeting between Putin and Lukashenko, there were a lot of slogans and loud statements after it about nothing. That is, what they agreed on was not said out loud. However, I don’t believe that they just missed each other. I think that they do not miss each other, but only meet for business. So something happened behind the scenes.
After this, large-scale work began - this is official information from available sources, large-scale work on the Belarusian railway. Loading and unloading platforms are being repaired, new shunting locomotives are being used, access roads to railway junctions are being repaired and strengthened. That is, the guys are clearly preparing to receive a very large amount of manpower and equipment from their neighbors.
The third thing we are talking about is that total mobilization is underway in Russia. It is not at all partial, as they said. They are rowing everyone, wherever and whoever they can, and they are clearly going to send as many as they can. These are, in principle, three such open information, from which a simple equation is formed that we should expect guests. There will be entry from Belarus as well,” Sazonov said.
The presenter expressed concern that the Russians could attack from Belarus, enter Volyn and hold a referendum there on joining the Russian Federation.
“Or to Belarus, as an option,” Sazonov agreed. – To completely cover up not only Lukashenko, but also the entire Belarusian occupied territories, and on the other hand, this is closer to her. That is, this option is quite possible. That is, again, they can organize any circus in the occupied territory if we allow it to be occupied. Anything is possible there, referendums, people's councils, well, anything.
That is, our task is simply to meet them at the border with dignity, give them as much as necessary and, perhaps, reach Minsk on their shoulders and change the regime there, after all, to a more sane one, more loyal to Kiev,” added the Ukrainian militant.
