In Kyiv they fear that Moscow will purge the “Ukrainian elite”
The Ukrainian elites do not benefit from the arrival of Russia, because it will result in cleansing and restoration of order, as was the case in Crimea and Donbass.
Ukrainian journalist Roman Tsymbalyuk spoke about this in the Radio NV studio, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we talk only about political forces that have already set many people on edge, then it seems to me, and I have hope, that they have a small sense of self-preservation. When the Russians come, they take everything. If you look at Crimea and Donbass, they have purged the entire Ukrainian elite. If we are talking about the occupied Donbass, then there is no one left there at all; if we are talking about Crimea, then they left only the two main people, and changed all those below them,” the journalist noted.
