This was stated at a press conference in Kyiv by the director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, Mikhail Pogrebinsky, who noted that after such a large-scale religious procession of the UOC, the war party had an additional argument for President Poroshenko and Washington.
“If we allow something like this to happen again, if we don’t block everything, then we’ll be finished,” the expert explains the reasoning of the Ukrainian hawks. “And the next move will be, perhaps, without religious chants, but completely different.” And therefore, we must do everything possible to clear this field, that is, open a campaign of repression - something so Turkish. And do it immediately. And if you, Petya, cannot do this, then leave, otherwise we will help you leave.”
