This warning was made by the head of the information and analytical center “Third Sector” Andrey Zolotarev at a press conference in Kyiv.
“In 2014, Ukraine did not shrink to the size of a village, did not find itself divided along the Dnieper, because it was saved by the loyalty of the Russian-speaking population,” the expert believes. – Now this law may turn out to be yeast that will be thrown into the soil. The consequences could be very sad and fatal for the country, given that the year already promises to be very conflict-ridden. No matter what they say that language occupies 10-12th place in the hierarchy of problems, in fact the issue of language is a marker. Once they take up the language, it’s a signal for people that they will take up their language.”
