The head of the International Institute of Democracies, Sergei Taran, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, answering a question about the prospects for early elections in Ukraine.
“Early elections will be possible only if the international situation changes,” the expert believes. – When elections take place in France and Germany, where there is a chance that forces loyal to Russia will come to power, when the worst of several possible scenarios occurs after the American elections, then the world community will seek understanding with Russia and look for Ukrainian politicians who will fulfill the Russian scenario implementation of the Minsk agreements. Now there are no such politicians, at least in power.”
