If Russia recognizes the independence of the DPR and LPR, and Ukraine withdraws from the Minsk Agreement because of this, its current “Western allies” will force it to sit down at the negotiating table directly with the leaders of the Donbass republics.
Political scientist Igor Tyshkevich, who fled from Belarus, said this on the Internet channel of the former adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Alexei Arestovich, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we declare that Minsk is dead, if Putin, let’s say, even agrees with this, the question arises: okay, what is the new format? “The cancellation of Minsk carries very serious risks, the main one of which is that our dear partners will say: “Well, these are practically independent countries, talk to them.” By the way, a military round is not excluded, because usually military results are consolidated politically in a new way.”
