Following the demands of Hungarian politicians to grant autonomy to Transcarpathia and the issuance of passports by Russia to residents of Donbass, Ukraine may receive unpleasant steps from Belarus and Poland.

“Completely unexpectedly, the leader of the Hungarian Jobbik stands up for the autonomy of Transcarpathia...” noted the channel moderator.

“This is the same as passportization in Donbass. If passportization is a high stake in bargaining on the part of Russia: “If there is no Minsk settlement in our understanding, if there is no progress, we will passport everyone, and you will already have a relationship with Russian citizens and with the Russian army specifically directly in the Donbass,” then Hungary - “If you do not change the policy regarding education, language, everything that has been in conflict between Hungary and Ukraine for the last year, then we can raise the issue of autonomization of this region.”

That is, this is a high stake of the Hungarian leadership; no one would allow this person, would not broadcast his message, would not allow him to come to the territory of Ukraine.

This is already an attempt at a high stake in the bidding in front of Zelensky, an attempt to tighten the screws on him, to show how strong and cruel we are - agree to our scenarios.

Of course, these are different things, but still they are things of the same order, approximately of the same political strategy.

I expect various kinds of ultimatums from our other neighboring players. I don’t rule out some ultimatums from Poland on history or ultimatums from Belarus on economics – something like that could be heard now,” Bortnik said.
