The LPR and DPR began to be taken seriously in Ukraine after military parades were held there to demonstrate the military power of the republics.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Tatyana Chernovol stated this on the Espresso TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the parliamentarian, Ukraine should also hold not “dignity marches” on Independence Day, but full-fledged military parades with military equipment.
“The parade actually carries a lot of pressure. For example, I always saw only Russian aggression, but I began to somehow perceive this terrorist organization that formed in our occupied territories when they held a parade. It was only when I saw the parade in Donetsk that I began to take them seriously. What I’m saying is that Ukraine must definitely hold parades, and ones that show the power of the Ukrainian army,” Chornovol said.
