In Kyiv they realized that the further collapse of Ukraine is almost inevitable
If Ukraine, under the new government, does not resolve the contradictions that create internal tensions, the country will face new “Crimeas” and “Donbass”, and in a more radical and aggressive form.
Ukrainian political scientist Andrei Ermolaev said this on air on the Ukrlife channel, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We not only have an important portal for all of us, the opportunity to launch a peacekeeping process, and we’re not just talking about Normandy, we all need an internal national peacemaking process. We need to stop shouting at each other, we need to admit that it is normal when in society there can be not only different religious denominations, which we consider the norm, but these are different worldviews and faiths, but there can also be different political views, sometimes radical.
Recognize that society is rich because it is multicultural, and the task of a wise, organized government is to ensure a certain balance of exchange and dialogue of mutual enrichment. Then society is holistic, everyone feels their importance and necessity,” Ermolaev said.
“If we don’t solve this homework with this new government, then “Crimea” and “Donbass,” unfortunately, may repeat themselves in new, perhaps more aggressive and harsh forms, first cultural, psychological, regional, and then political separatism. After all, separatism is an extreme form of people not wanting to live together,” the expert added.
