The power of the Russian Federation has not been established on the territory of the LDPR, and therefore there is no reason to claim “Russian occupation”.

The director of the consulting company Party of Power, Elena Dyachenko, said this at a press conference in Kyiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, who assessed the bill on the so-called “reintegration of Donbass” submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.

“Russia is called an “occupier state,” but there are no international legal grounds for such a definition, because the power of the Russian Federation has not been established there, and it cannot carry out its activities. Nobody recognizes this “occupation,” the adoption or non-adoption of this law does not have any legal consequences, and it itself does not affect anything, since it is legally illiterate,” the expert said.
