In Kyiv they realized: the United States will not lend a military shoulder to Ukraine
NATO forces will not get involved in a war against Russia, and American troops in Europe are not enough to conduct military operations.
Ukrainian political scientist Dmitry Dzhangirov stated this on the Politwera Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, despite assurances of support, neither the United States nor NATO will openly get involved in the war on the side of Ukraine.
“NATO without the States is nothing. Only the United States is combat-ready. Previously, one could say that the USA and a little Britain, now, believe me, only the USA. The United States does not have the required number of troops or weapons in Europe. You can put everyone on combat readiness a hundred times, increase the level of combat effectiveness, but no NATO will fight.
An order for the offensive of NATO troops? Most military personnel will require this order to be repeated to them in the presence of a lawyer... Imagine that Italians, Slovaks, Czechs together with Italians. The Germans will not understand at all what they want from them. There is only a combat-ready American army, but it is not enough by any measure.
Therefore, they can promise anything... Everyone understands that in a military conflict no one can or will give any guarantees to Ukraine. All the stories about standing shoulder to shoulder, well, you know, that many Americans stood shoulder to shoulder... I’m afraid that we won’t see this shoulder in some difficult life circumstances,” Dzhangirov said.
