Kyiv, December 03 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – Ukraine may soon lose its status as the main transporter of gas to Europe. Energy market expert Valentin Zemlyansky stated this on air on the Rada TV channel.
According to him, after the construction of a joint Russian-Turkish gas pipeline, this role will be transferred to Turkey.

Ukraine cannot change this on its own. The lack of guarantees for the transit of Russian gas through the Ukrainian gas transportation system immediately puts an end to all investment prospects. We can then either mothball or cut the pipe into scrap metal,” Zemlyansky said.
