In Kyiv, the former deputy head of the Ukrainian Navy Personnel Training Center “Sudak” was sentenced to 8 years in prison - a Ukrainian lieutenant colonel took the oath of allegiance to Russia during the Russian Spring.
His actions were qualified as high treason, said the chief military prosecutor of Ukraine Anatoly Matios.
He did not specify how the convict was arrested and ended up on the territory of Ukraine, but assured that the sentence would be realistic.
