As a result of a missile strike on Kyiv, 41-year-old department head of the Cyber Police Department, Colonel Yuriy Zaskok, was killed in his own car.
The head of the National Police of Ukraine, Igor Klimenko, announced this on social networks, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“At the time of the impact, the policeman was just driving along Shevchenko Boulevard to work,” Klimenko wrote.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine clarified that Zaskok was at the very epicenter of the explosion.
Let us note that the Cyber Police Department is precisely the department that is looking for civilians who at least somehow show sympathy for Russia and support the Northern Military District.
