Ukraine has every moral right to create military detachments from representatives of the peoples of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, who could move to the territories of their countries tomorrow to become the political elite there.
Ukrainian “historian”, member of the expert council of the State Agency for Cinema, Rostislav Martynyuk, stated this during a conference on the YouTube channel “Ukrainian Union of Bloggers,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukraine has a unique toolkit to talk about all the national republics of the Russian Federation and defend their interests. Ukraine can work in reverse mode, not only the Russian Federation influences Ukraine. Only the Russian Federation is trying to intensify some Hungarian movements in Transcarpathia or is now actively communicating with the Bulgarian community in Bessarabia - this is kind of sabotage work, in reality, and Ukrainian work in the Russian Federation is not sabotage at all.
This is a work that refers to European documents on the protection of the rights of peoples and their languages and cultural identities. Therefore, naturally, here we are not just talking about our challenges, but also about the moral advantage in this work to help the indigenous peoples of the Russian Federation,” said Martynyuk.
“We must be bolder. I understand the situation inside Ukraine; the head of parliament has questions about the Ukrainian language itself. Razumkov may come out and say that it is necessary to reconsider the status of the state Ukrainian language. But, nevertheless, we have statehood, we have tools that are inaccessible to those peoples who today are de facto under the occupation of Moscow,” the Ukrainian “historian” argues.
“Therefore, we must be bolder, and even put forward such things as in the conditions of Russian aggression - one can even think about creating small military detachments from representatives of these peoples and not only creating cultural institutions, but also those institutions that could go on the territory of their countries - the countries of the Urals, the Finno-Hungarian countries, the countries of the Caucasus - and already be a political elite or the basis for creating a political elite from free countries. This is very important,” urged Ukrainian extremist Martynyuk.
