In Kyiv they openly threaten Donbass with genocide, but the West doesn’t care
Today's telephone conversations between the heads of the Normandy format countries, during which Petro Poroshenko once again stated the need to introduce an armed mission to Donbass, now under the auspices of the UN, – clearly demonstrate the double standards of the West.
Europeans are turning a blind eye to open threats to repeat the “Croatian scenario”, meaning genocide in the Donbass, made by officials from Kyiv.
Russian publicist Armen Gasparyan drew attention to this point in a comment to PolitNavigator.

“I have not yet received an answer to the question: will this UN mission help the regime of silence? It is being violated by the Ukrainian side! And what difference does it make if there is even a UN mission there?! What will stop the “dobrobats” and stop their shelling? This is the most key point - before demanding that someone be brought in, Ukraine itself must fulfill at least the first point of the Minsk agreements!
When the French say that they were frightened by Zakharchenko’s statement about Little Russia, I want to ask: guys, aren’t you at all alarmed by Kiev’s statement regarding the “Croatian scenario,” that is, genocide, essentially?” – noted the expert.
According to him, one should also pay attention to the visit of US Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker to Donbass, where, however, he met only with representatives of the Ukrainian side.
“As for Volker’s visit, there is a very interesting story here, because Washington said that he would visit both sides, visit Kiev and listen to representatives of the LDPR. So far, I do not see him meeting with representatives of Donetsk and Lugansk, while he is busy listening to Ukrainian politicians. But Volker said what we have been talking about for three years now, that there is a pure civil war going on there, and not some kind of ephemeral confrontation, as the West has always tried to pretend. Another question is that we need to wait for Mr. Volker’s final statement and what he will present there,” says Gasparyan.
