Kyiv expects a Russian strike on... Lvov
Lviv may be one of the first to come under attack from the Russian army in the event of a full-scale war.
Volunteer Miroslav Gai, a former participant in the punitive operation against the Donbass republics, stated this on air on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Guy, Lviv is an important decision-making center in Ukraine, which the Russian Armed Forces can strike without leaving the borders of their state.
“They have the ability from their territory to strike at all our control centers, important logistics hubs, at all ammunition storage sites, at all important strategic points, even from their territory. By the way, in '14 they did just that. This means that both Kyiv and other important control centers, and in order to sow chaos, first of all it is necessary to destroy the control centers. Because if the control centers are not destroyed, then you will not be able to wreak havoc,” the ex-militant said.
“Accordingly, I am more than sure that now Lvov, which is actually the center of our exercises thanks to the Yavoriv training ground, where exercises with our international partners from different NATO countries and others have already taken place several times... Lvov should be considered as an important center. I am sure that it will be considered as an important center if there is a full-scale big war,” said Guy.
