A cunning plan for victory over Russia was announced in Kyiv
Ukraine does not need to take away the military equipment remaining in Crimea. About this on the radio “Crimea”, financed by the US State Department. Realities,” Ukrainian military experts said, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, according to military observer Vladimir Zablotsky, all the equipment that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had in Crimea was 90% outdated even before the reunification of the peninsula with Russia.
“Even just restoring it doesn’t make any sense. There is also no personnel for such a number of ships. There is nowhere to base them. Yes, and it is already outdated. It was already obsolete then, so where can we use it? There is nowhere for us to use it. In fact, 90% of what was there at the time of annexation needed repairs of various kinds. We don’t know what was taken from them. They were probably short-staffed. Under no circumstances should you take them,” Zablotsky said.
In addition, it is not profitable for Ukraine to take away the equipment, since this will make the lawsuits that the country filed against Russia demanding compensation for damages from “losses” meaningless. This was stated by military expert, Verkhovna Rada deputy Dmitry Tymchuk: “Of course, given the claims that exist, Ukraine against the Russian Federation, in particular in Crimea, it is legally necessary for us that this equipment remain there. It makes no sense for us to take it. This is yet another proof with which Moscow officially admits: “Yes, we captured”... In military terms, I have no doubt that this equipment is not combat-ready.”
