In Kyiv, a new batch of threats was voiced against residents of Donbass
Ukrainian special services will take a look at all residents of the LPR and DPR who have received Russian passports.
Former Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Yuriy Shcherbak stated this on the ATR TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, Ukraine will buy lists of such citizens from Russia.
“In Russia everything is for sale. Unfortunately, we also have a lot of things. I am sure that in a few months after that they will have all the lists of those who received Russian passports with numbers. And those naive people in the Donetsk occupied zone who want to have them will be registered here with our special services. This is absolutely understandable. I think there may be many measures, because this is a scandalous situation and no country will agree with this,” Shcherbak said.
Earlier, State Duma deputy Dmitry Belik said that in the future Russia will provide the right simplified acquisition of Russian citizenship for all residents of Ukraine “who have been subjected to ethnic, cultural and linguistic aggression.”
Previously, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a decree on simplified acquisition of Russian citizenship for residents of the LPR and DPR.
