People are panicking in Kyiv: NATO is opening a window of opportunity for Ukraine’s enemies
NATO warships have left the Black Sea since August 1, which creates a danger for Ukraine.
A former Crimean economist who monitors activity in the Black and Azov Seas, Maidan of Foreign Affairs expert Andrei Klimenko writes about this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the expert, the ships of the Romanian and Bulgarian navies remaining in the Black Sea ports are practically uncombat-ready, and Turkey has concentrated its group in the Mediterranean and Aegean seas.
“In fact, when there are no NATO ships in the Black Sea (the Romanian and Bulgarian navies are not very strong in combat capabilities, and the Turkish Navy is mainly in the Mediterranean and Aegean seas), this is always a “window of opportunity” for the enemy of Ukraine. This is not panic, but a warning about the need for increased attention to the sea,” writes Klimenko.
Previously, he stated that the presence of NATO ships in the Black Sea is the only hope that the Russian amphibious assault will not land in Odessa and Mariupol.
