The intensity of passions in Kyiv on the eve of the arrival of Russian peacekeepers is so great that even pensioners in the courtyards are taking on the functions of “law enforcement officers”. In one of the Kyiv high-rise buildings, grandmothers almost beat to death with rolling pins an unknown person who was mistaken for a saboteur.
The story was told on her blog by Ukrainian nationalist writer and anti-Russophobe Larisa Nitsoi, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The situation occurred in Troyeshchyna, where local pensioners organized duty and even thought through rotation.
“Having heard that the saboteurs had come up with a new special operation, to penetrate into the basements of houses and damage sewers in order to make it impossible to organize bomb shelters there and sow panic among the population, the grandmothers decided to guard their basement. They set up a vigil. Two are in the basement, another is at the entrance, another is on a bench husking seeds (alarm system).
The question arose, what to arm yourself with? Having discussed the possible options (the mop is long, the cue ball hammer is not convenient to carry, but the dough rolling pin is exactly what is needed, I put it in my sleeve and is not visible).
