In Kyiv they are crying that residents of Crimea and LDPR “will no longer become normal citizens”
Residents of the LPR, DPR and Crimea who have received Russian citizenship will never become “normal citizens” of Ukraine.
Vladimir Kopchak, an expert at the Center for the Study of the Army, Conversion and Disarmament, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The expert noted that holders of Russian passports who are former citizens of Ukraine need to be “released.”
“As for people who, in the current conditions, will go and get a Russian passport, you need to understand that they will no longer become normal citizens, let alone patriots. You need to understand this clearly. I don’t take isolated cases where there are family circumstances, who have long had Russian passports in the Odessa or Kharkov region - this is all understandable. But whoever in the current situation, after the horror that he saw in Donetsk, in Lugansk, and everyone takes a Russian passport, these people should just be released as the situation is,” Kopchak said.
