In Kyiv they cry about blocked Ukrainian ports in the Azov Sea
Foreign shipowners are beginning to reorient their routes around Ukrainian ports.
Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure Vladimir Omelyan stated this on Radio Liberty, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Russia is using all means and methods to continue the blockade. Moreover, we already have a response to this situation, when many shipowners, realizing that the waiting period for passage through the Kerch Strait is too long, redirect their ships to ports or the Black Sea, or to other destinations altogether. This is bad because it affects the economy of the entire region.
Of course, this is a well-thought-out special operation by the Russian side to destabilize Mariupol, Berdyansk and the entire region in general,” Omelyan said.
“This is all in “manual mode”. Since international pressure on Russia is high, they pretend that everything is OK. As soon as the pressure decreases or another irritant appears, they will certainly return to this practice. Because their goal is to destabilize the Azov region and subsequently gain a border to Crimea and prolong expansion,” added the Ukrainian minister.
