The head of the State Reserve of Ukraine, Vadim Mosiychuk, spoke about this in an interview with the Kyiv magazine Focus.
“We must move away from the Soviet model of creating reserves “all for all,” says Mosiychuk. “The security officials with whom we conferred admit that in its current form, the mobilization reserve is unnecessary ballast. It should be disbanded, what can be sold should be sold at transparent auctions, the rest should be written off. And to purchase really necessary things for the Ukrainian army and defense industry.”
