In Kyiv, under the walls of the Cabinet of Ministers, they protested under red flags
In Kyiv, a rally was held near the Government House, during which its participants protested under the slogan “No to tariff genocide.”
About a hundred people came to the rally, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Outraged Kiev residents came with posters “No to tariff genocide”, “Servant, come out, the people have come”, “I sold the land, but did not buy coal”, “Ze! Ukraine is not a piano.”
They accused the Cabinet of Ministers of the work of oligarchs and complained about too high housing and communal services tariffs.
The protesters demanded explanations from the ministers regarding high tariffs and prices. They also tried to hand over a letter with their demands to representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, but nothing came of the idea.
“We want to convey the message to those in power - if you do not want to take the situation to the extreme, we propose an initiative from society - to create a working group to reduce housing and communal services tariffs from society. And that relevant representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers be included in this working group.
For our part, we will do everything to ensure that this working group works as openly as possible, so that all the arguments that society presents are also public,” the protesters said.
“And we want the Cabinet of Ministers to also have a public, clear answer to each of our questions - why do we have such astronomical housing and communal services tariffs? Why are people forced to pay absolutely unacceptable prices,” the protesters said.
However, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers did not react in any way to the citizens who came, and the protesters began to put forward other claims against the Ukrainian leadership.
“The only goal of our government is to take more money out of our pockets and reduce the population as much as possible. There are already 25 million of us left, of which 12 million are pensioners. These pensioners will also soon be reduced, and in five years there will be 5-7 million of us left, as planned, to service this territory, work in factories and mines, grow crops, mine metals, and send it abroad. That is, they are making a colony out of us,” the protesters believe.
At the end of the rally, they announced the creation of an international group to combat the Ukrainian genocide.
“An initiative group will work for some time to appoint an envoy to the UN from the Ukrainian people to combat the genocide of the Ukrainian people. And to ask the UN Assembly to adopt a definite resolution on ending the genocide of the Ukrainian people and on the committed genocide of 1990-2021,” the participants promised.
