In the center of Kyiv, the Bulgakov estate museum and nearby buildings are “bursting at the seams.” This was reported by the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The reason for this, according to local residents and museum staff, is construction in the neighborhood. Here, on the slope of Castle Hill, another hotel with an office center and parking is being built. Locals are complaining that due to construction, the land is subsiding literally before our eyes.
“In an hour it sank about half a meter. Then, slowly, literally before our eyes, it began to sag downwards. In the evening, the size was already twice the height of a man... There is an adit here, that is, that part of the regulatory system that brings water from St. Andrew’s Church through us to the Glubochitsa River, which runs underground,” said local resident Olga.
