Last time, as PolitNavigator already reported, volunteers removed the entrance door at the entrance from its hinges. This time they lit car tires under the gate. The fire was extinguished by a fire truck.
In addition to preserving the battalion, there were demands to immediately take measures to remove the encircled units from the Debaltsevo pocket.
It is worth noting that the accusations were made not only against the leadership of the defense department and the General Staff, but also against the President of Ukraine Poroshenko.
The protesters “sealed” the entrance to the territory of the ministry with posters with the inscriptions “Poroshenko, stop stealing, trading Ukraine and killing our children” and “The Ministry of Defense is corrupt. He promises one thing and does another.”
An initiative group of Aidar members led by People's Deputy Sergei Melnichuk, who before being elected as a deputy on the party lists, Oleg Lyashko, held the position of battalion commander, was allowed to enter the territory of the ministry.
Towards evening, the meeting ended, and Melnichuk told reporters that a decision had been made to preserve the unit, and he would again become its commander.
