The elected President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky should disperse his team, which is openly discrediting the new head of the Ukrainian state.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Because it’s clear to everyone, even a hedgehog, that there won’t be crowds of Russians [holding Ukrainian passports]. This is understandable to Poroshenko, but since he is always playing the fool that he is a fool, in fact he is not, he is an intelligent person, unlike many others, and he understands that there will be no queue for Ukrainian passports.
And this understanding that Zelensky decided, in response to issuing Russian passports to people who live in unrecognized republics, to issue Ukrainian passports to Russians and everyone who lives in authoritarian regimes, and so on, Putin’s reaction to this - I think this is trolling. By the way, he is thinking about offering all Ukrainians a second passport, which is not something unprecedented in many countries. Putin says: “You want to extradite Ukrainian ones, I will extradite Russian ones, and we will all be citizens of the same space” - I believe that this was not Putin’s programmatic statement, but I hope that this was Zelensky’s trolling.
Not even so much Zelensky, I don’t believe that Zelensky read what was written there. It is clear that this was written by the hand of the Russian liberal elite. The vocabulary is absolutely not characteristic of Zelensky and not characteristic of Razumkov and the other guys who are next to him, this is absolutely Russian terminology of the Russian liberal crowd.
Firstly, this is a boorish tone, and there is no reason for Zelensky, who wants to negotiate, to speak in a boorish tone with a significant world-class political figure. When he says: “I don’t advise you to do something,” it’s just funny, like a boy from a kindergarten advising or not advising something to a Nobel laureate,” said the political scientist.
“If only there was a constructive part of the response letter, without any fables, that we have a free country, freedom of speech, nothing is infringed upon, well, he didn’t really find his brains on the street, he heard that there are people who directly suffered because they wrote something wrong on the Internet or said - Muravitsky or Kotsaba, all this is known a thousand times, or he does not consider it important.
So, they wrote, they think a lot to themselves, they say that this is Belkovsky, that he is supposedly collaborating. I know Belkovsky quite well, it seems to me that it is unlikely, he is an intelligent person. It is unlikely that he would openly expose the person he works for. I think that these are, rather, people of the level of Babchenko or Muzhdabaev - they could write this. They perceive me so emotionally because I voted for Zelensky!” the expert laments.
“You make a conclusion from one Facebook post!” – noted the presenter of the program.
“No, wait, I heard their speeches, and then, not only him, there is a representative recommended by Gritsenko, who also says strange things. Maybe he is strong and intelligent, but he says what is not entirely adequate to say,” Pogrebinsky emphasized.
“I will wait for adequacy and efficiency as long as can be expected without becoming in opposition to the elected President Zelensky. If I could suggest something, let them listen to our program, fire the guys who are letting you down - this will be the right one, one of the first good decisions,” the political scientist concluded.
