In Kyiv, they calculated how many nationalists will enter the next Rada
After the parliamentary elections in Ukraine, nothing will change, since about half of the future Verkhovna Rada will be nationalists from different parties.
Mikhail Pogrebinsky, director of the Kyiv Center for Political Research and Conflictology, said this on the YouTube channel “PolitWera”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“There will be nationalists in the Rada, and quite a few, since Poroshenko and Tymoshenko are very likely to be in the Rada. The majority of them are, more or less, moderate nationalists. The Rada most likely hosts “Golos”, in which 90%, including Vakarchuk, are nationalists. So, I think, with a high probability, half of the future composition of the Verkhovna Rada will be nationalists, although they will call themselves patriots, national democrats. In this sense, everything will remain the same,” the expert said.
In his opinion, nationalists are very dangerous, and even President Vladimir Zelensky will be forced to follow their lead out of fear for his own life.
“But, indeed, the National Front, Svoboda, and even small nationalist parties do not enter the Rada. But this does not mean that there will be no nationalists there. And Zelensky should be afraid of them, they are really dangerous. As long as he says, “I am against Russia, I am for NATO,” he has less reason to be afraid. But if he allows himself to say something to the contrary, then we really need to be afraid that he will simply be killed,” Pogrebinsky summed up.
