In Kyiv, Ukrainians were counted in the Guinness Book of Records
Since 1989, the National Register of Records of Ukraine has recorded 52 Ukrainians who were included in the Guinness Book of Records, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported in the National Register of Records of Ukraine.
“The National Register of Records has been in operation since 1989. Throughout history, 52 Ukrainians have been included in the Guinness Book of Records,” the Register reported.
Thus, in 2018, the National Register of Records registered the 50th anniversary record. Over the past year, two more strength achievements have been included in the Guinness World Records - handstand push-ups - record holder from Dnepr Viktor Nabok. And also the Lviv strongman Oleg Tyagnizub, who pulled a ship weighing 614 tons with his teeth.
“In total, since the beginning of 2019, as of today (November 4 – ed.), we have registered 470 records. But three times more applications were received. That is, only a third of the applicants for the record come to realize the idea,” the Register reported.
Among the regions of Ukraine, in addition to the Kyiv region, the top three in terms of the number of records set are the Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk regions, and the third place is shared by the Lviv and Odessa regions.
Currently, the National Register of Records is processing applications to set a record for the number of higher education degrees received, as well as passing the largest number of external examinations.
The press marathon of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, which took place on October 10 in the Kyiv Food Market building, broke the world record for duration.
