In Kyiv they calculated: during Independence, Ukrainians made 117 thousand inventions
Over the 25 years of Ukraine’s independence, the State Intellectual Property Service has issued 117 thousand 276 patents for inventions.

The department reported this.
“During the independence of Ukraine, 117 thousand 276 patents for inventions, 109 thousand 727 patents for utility models, 32 thousand 848 patents for industrial designs were issued,” the message says.
At the same time, over the eight months of 2016, 1 thousand 948 patents for inventions were registered.
It is also noted that before copyright, the state registration of copyright and agreements relating to the author’s right to a work, introduced by the Law of Ukraine “On Copyright and Related Rights”, has been taking place in Ukraine since 1995.
“In 1995, 59 state copyright registrations took place, and in 2015 – 5 thousand 413. As of August 16, 2016, since 1995, 67 thousand 27 copyright registrations were carried out. Regarding registered agreements relating to the author’s right to a work, from 2002 to 2015 this figure is 2 thousand 866,” the message adds.
