Trader of SBU secrets caught in Kyiv

As stated in the case file, this specialist had access to state secrets in Form No. 2 and access to classified information with the secrecy level of “top secret” and “secret”.
It was established that the defendant acted by prior conspiracy by a group of persons while in the office premises of the Court of Appeal of the city of Kyiv. There he found a petition from an investigator of the Main Investigation Department of the SBU, agreed upon by the prosecutor of the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine and the resolution of the Kiev Court of Appeal, for permission to conduct covert investigative actions in criminal proceedings, which constitute a state secret and were classified as “secret”.
The defendant took photographs of secret documents with his mobile phone. After which, the cafe gave this information to the person against whom these secret activities were carried out, and in return received 2000 US dollars.
The court sentenced the trader of SBU secrets to 5 years in prison with a probationary period of 3 years.
