More than 1 thousand applicants from areas of Donbass not controlled by the Kyiv government have already been enrolled in Ukrainian higher educational institutions during the admission campaign, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was announced by the Director of the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine Oleg Sharov, Hromadske reports.
“They can arrive until September 30. During this period, the educational centers “Donbass - Ukraine” and “Crimea - Ukraine” are operating. We have data on more than a thousand people from uncontrolled parts of Donbass and more than 150 people from Crimea, but this is not final data yet,” Sharov said.
