In Kyiv they are quietly admitting that Euromaidan turned out to be big bullshit
The Ukrainian authorities claim a slight increase in GDP, but the economy has shown improvement only in relation to last year, but it is still very far from the pre-Maidan 2013 indicators.
Evgeniy Oleynikov, an expert at the Economic Discussion Club, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Then there were two forces on the Maidan - people who were not indifferent to what was happening in the country, and people who took responsibility and said: “we know how.”
And at the same time, they did not say that first everything would collapse, and then, probably, someday it would recover. They said: “We know how to do better than today.”
Since they took responsibility, the starting point for them is the results of 2013. From the point of view of these results, the situation today is such that we have not even passed the recovery point yet.
As long as politicians shyly try not to notice this starting point, as long as they try to count from “how it was last year,” no global results can be expected, the realization of the expectations with which people 4 years ago came out to “seek their truth.” , said the expert.
He also recalled that at one time President Leonid Kravchuk promised to turn Ukraine into a second France, during the time of Viktor Yushchenko, Ukrainians were already promised “life like in Poland,” and now Mikheil Saakashvili is thinking about how to return Ukraine to the indicators of the last pre-Maidan year.
