“Ukraine will never become Ukrainian-speaking until the system of “culling” those who ignore this Ukrainian-speakingness starts working,” - she claims on her page on the social network.

“Do you want Ukrainian? Pull the nipples of deputies, write petitions to the president. Push the provisions a la Estonia: if you don’t know the language, you won’t get citizenship, if you don’t get citizenship, you won’t find a job, if you don’t find a job, you’ll die or emigrate. And all these numerous incantations on language topics, all these “language is the genetic code of the nation,” all these endless columns by the author are just the use of trendy topics, “glory to the CPSU” inside out,” the journalist is convinced.

At the same time, Natalia Lebid calls for taking an example from such odious dictatorial regimes as Singapore, or from nationalist Estonia, which built an apartheid society, where the Russian-speaking population is deprived of civil rights.

“ONLY FORCE WILL WORK. And there's nothing wrong with that. We all admire Singapore and Lee Kuan Yew, don't we? (Another fashion trend, by the way.) This is how Singapore uses corporal punishment for violating certain rules. But no one sleeps in elevators... “.,” says the Kiev journalist.
