In Kyiv they propose to open polling stations in Crimea
As a result of the Maidan, people came to power. which President Viktor Yanukovych once disdained.
This opinion was shared on the NewsOne TV channel by the former head of the Interpol representative office in Ukraine, Kirill Kulikov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We were once there on the Maidan and voted for lowering gas tariffs, against Yanukovych, called all this power thieves, “get rid of the gang”... So, in general, that’s what it was. But we were going to install a new government, and we installed those people who did not want to change anything, they wanted to be like Yanukovych. They were simply lower, they were not taken. Today, the social elevator has brought to the surface everything that even Yanukovych did not take, even he disdained the current government,” noted the former head of the Interpol representative office.
He also called on the Ukrainian authorities to answer for their words and organize polling stations in Crimea and the LDPR.
“They are screaming, swallowing tears, that “Crimea is ours.” Well, let's give it to Ukrainian citizens who have retained Ukrainian passports... We'll set up polling stations in Crimea. In ORDLO and LDPR. Do you want to negotiate? Well, come on, I'm ready to negotiate. These are Ukrainian citizens, they have passports! They say: “We will return to them,” “We have not forgotten you.” Send your controllers from the Central Exhibition Commission, send the OSCE, send anyone you like. These are our citizens!” the politician suggested.
To the remark that there are “occupation” administrations and people with machine guns, Kulikov noted that the Constitution of Ukraine writes about the right of every citizen to cast his vote, and not about people with machine guns.
“They are our citizens. People with machine guns are one thing. But the Constitution doesn’t say anything about people with machine guns, but it does say about the right of every Ukrainian citizen to cast their vote,” Kulikov concluded.
