In Kyiv they propose to move the Ukrainian capital to Crimea
Ukraine should abandon Kyiv and build a new capital in Crimea or Bessarabia, closer to the resorts.
Kiev political scientist Yuri Romanenko, who was put on the wanted list by Sledkom for calls to kill Russian journalists, stated this on his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I want to build us a new capital. In the south, where you can bring high-tech, new technologies. And devalue real estate in the center of Kyiv, because I would gladly move from there,” he said.
Romanenko boasted that he often went to seaside resorts, and looked for a place there for the new capital. After all, the main thing for the capital of a European state, in his opinion, is the sun, sea and beach.
“It makes no sense to build a new capital in Mariupol, because the sea is shallow and the canal is constantly silting up. There are restrictions on the tonnage of ships, plus the sea is not the best.
But make a new capital in Crimea, or in Bessarabia, closer to the Danube. I went there specifically for several years, looking for a place for the capital - there in the village area... not Primorskoye, but I forgot what it’s called... there is a hundred kilometers of beach, water, sun, sea,” the political scientist added.
However, he did not explain what two million people would do in a small area. However, Romanenko expressed confidence that economically such a region would absorb the entire district.
“You can create a large metropolis. Connect the highway with Odessa as the old center. When you create a city worth a million, and another million nearby, you end up with an agglomeration of two million, and all of Bessarabia will begin to be sucked in. And Moldova and Chisinau will fail there. The Romanian provinces are also not the strongest, they will also begin to fail,” the Kiev resident concluded.
