In Kyiv they proposed isolating the initiator of the “road to Bandera” from society
Possible termination of railway communication with the Russian Federation on the initiative Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladimir Omelyan could lead to large losses for the country's economy.
Former Minister of Economy of Ukraine Viktor Suslov stated this on the NASH TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The losses will be big. It is known that Ukrainian trains on the Kyiv-Moscow route are among the most profitable for the Ukrainian Railways. Therefore, the position of the Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure is strange, but it presupposes some kind of reaction. I would like to wish NABU to bring the case regarding Omelyan to the end, because this person should be isolated from society and his negative impact on the Ukrainian economy should be minimized. I hope this will happen,” he said.
At the same time, the ex-official noted that Kiev’s introduction of a ban on railway communication with the Russian Federation can only play into the hands of neighboring Belarus.
“By the way, the cessation of air traffic simply led to the fact that passenger traffic from Ukraine was directed to Belarus with a transfer in Minsk. And the Belarusians made a lot of money from the fact that Ukrainians began flying to Russia through Belarus. Something similar will happen if passenger traffic is stopped,” Suslov added.
Let us remind you that earlier PolitNavigator reported that NABU handed Vladimir Omelyan suspicion of illegal enrichment and filing a false declaration.
